Since graduation, Lisa has been an avid learner and has participated in several post-secondary courses. She completed her acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2018. Lisa has completed courses in vestibular physiotherapy, foot and ankle pathology and concussion management in relation to the cervical spine. Lisa earned her Level 1 Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2017 and aspires to pursue the FCAMPT designation.
Lisa is currently a candidate for the Sports Physiotherapy certificate program and has been spending her spare time working as a physiotherapist for a club level girl’s volleyball team. Most recently, Lisa has taken on the role as co-chair for the Professional Development committee and Board Member for the Manitoba Physiotherapy Association. As a therapist Lisa has special interests in pediatrics, vestibular physiotherapy, manual therapy and injury prevention. In her free time, Lisa enjoys yoga, playing volleyball and cardio-kickboxing.
