Lisa graduated from the School of Medical Rehabilitation at the University of Manitoba in the year 2000. She has been licensed in Acupuncture and trigger point needling since 2001. She has enjoyed a rewarding career in private practice, focused on treating musculoskeletal injuries from the jaw right down to the big toe. She is a lifelong learner and is passionate about continuing education. She has attended numerous professional development courses to expand her clinical skills to provide exceptional care for her clients.
Lisa’s treatment approach tends to focus on manual or “hands on” therapy, acupuncture, therapeutic exercise, and education. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and can provide service in both English and French. She strives to ensure every patient receives effective, evidence-based, and customized treatment. Her goal is to give her patients the tools they need to maximize their health and quality of life.
Lisa’s passion lies not only in Physiotherapy, but in health promotion as well. She has been a certified fitness and yoga instructor since 1996 and conducts fitness and yoga instructor certification courses for the Manitoba Fitness Council.
Lisa truly enjoys her career as a Physiotherapist, and it would be her pleasure to assist you with your physiotherapy needs.
