Since graduation she has participated in numerous post secondary courses primarily focused on furthering her studies in manual therapy techniques through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association as well as several courses to further her knowledge in the field of acupuncture. She has also attended a multitude of seminars, courses and workshops on a variety of topics from soft tissue release techniques, exercise prescription and orthotic prescription. Throughout her career she has been invited to speak at seminars on a variety of topics including common running injuries/injury prevention, ergonomics and core stability. She has experience developing numerous aquatic therapy programs and exercise programs for a variety of different individuals with pre or post surgical issues, chronic pain or fibromyalgia for example.
As a therapist, Trista enjoys to further her knowledge in both the orthopaedic and acupunture fields. She has in interest in treating runners as well as injury prevention. Trista enjoys staying active, loves the outdoors and when she isn’t working is chasing after her 2 children!
