Our Physiotherapists treat a range of injuries resulting from athletic activities.
A sports physiotherapist will treat injuries obtained from doing any athletic activity (regardless of intensity) that is painful or debilitating enough to keep you out of the game.
Some common injuries that a sports physiotherapist can treat:
We will begin by performing an assessment to a) determine the cause and severity of your injury and b) develop a treatment plan that is designed to relieve your pain and help you return to pre-injury levels.
Once the plan has been developed, we will work out a regular appointment schedule and will likely provide you with specific at-home exercises that will also help improve your recovery.
Our home-away-from-home office is located at 1555 St. Mary’s Road, just south of Meadowood Drive, where we serve communities in Royalwood, Riverpark South, Southdale, Southwood, Island Lakes and beyond!
