If you experience jaw pain or headaches, you may have a condition called temporomandibular joint disorder, or TMD.
The pain in your jaw may make closed-mouth breathing, biting, chewing, swallowing, and talking difficult. You may hear clicking and experience joint locking on opening or closing. You may notice grinding, excessive tooth wear, and/or clenching during your sleep.
Accurate assessment of the neck and jaw ensures the correct treatment is offered and that potentially serious problems are not overlooked.
Our experienced physiotherapists offer accurate assessment, patient education, postural correction, manual therapy, soft tissue release, acupuncture/dry needling, and exercise to improve jaw coordination, stability, and alignment. We frequently collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to maximize your wellness.
They are committed to providing professional evidence-based hands-on treatment, and education and exercises to help reduce your pain and restore your function and mobility. They pursue ongoing post-graduate courses to employ the most current techniques in their practice.
