Most patients with Osteoarthritis (OA) are likely to benefit from a referral to Physiotherapy at various times during the course of their disease.
The American College of Rheumatology/Arthritis Foundation recommends a regular, ongoing exercise program to reduce pain and disability for those with osteoarthritis. These programs are most effective coupled with instruction in self-efficacy, self-management, thermal therapies, and instruction in the use of splints, braces, and gait aids.
Some individuals also benefit from additional treatment options like manual therapy, acupuncture, massage, and electrical modalities to address acute pain or flare-ups.
If you suffer from osteoarthritis pain, we can help!
They are committed to providing professional evidence-based hands-on treatment, and education and exercises to help reduce your pain and restore your function and mobility. They pursue ongoing post-graduate courses to employ the most current techniques in their practice.
